During the month of October 2024, OLIS Primary School celebrated Mission Week, a time dedicated to fostering a spirit of giving, compassion, and learning about missions. The week was filled with inspiring activities, including assemblies and presentations by the sisters and staff members, who shared their personal experiences in missionary work abroad. These sessions allowed the students to gain insight into the importance of helping others and the impact of missionary efforts worldwide. A token was also gifted to the students as a reminder of what they had learned.

One of the key highlights of Mission Week was the collection for Missio Malta, encouraging a culture of charity and community. Each class had a money box where students were encouraged to contribute small donations to support those less fortunate. Thanks to the generosity of the students, we are excited to announce that the funds raised have been used to sponsor the education of a child from Uganda. This meaningful gesture is something we hope to continue doing every year, creating a lasting impact on both our students and those in need.
We are proud of the efforts made by our students, staff, and families in making Mission Week a success. Well done to everyone who contributed! Together, we can make a difference and help those in need.
