It was a stormy night before Zoe and Ivy were going to bed. Their mom came in and said *goodnight girls see you tomorrow!!* and kissed them on the forehead. Zoe was scared to death because of the storm. Ivy tried to calm her down and went to get a blanket from their closet until she saw something glowing from there. She moved their clothes to check and realised that it was a purple portal that takes them in another dimension.
Ivy told Zoe about the portal, but she said there’s no need to worry about it. They decided to go to bed and figure it out tomorrow. Their parents heard a noise and came to check, only to find out that they were fast asleep and after that everyone was fast asleep. Next morning, Zoe woke up and noticed that ivy was still snoring. She woke her up and they thought to check the portal. WHEN THEY Looked AT IT, THEY SAW THAT IT HAD VANISHED!! They thought to keep it a secret and not tell their parents. Zoe and Ivy went down and felt like they had butterflies in their stomach. Their parents asked them what’s wrong, but they said *oh uh nothing ha-ha…. They were eager waiting for the night, to try to enter the portal for the first time. When night fell, they went quietly inside. As soon as they were in, they were flabbergasted. They could not believe their eyes! They found themselves in Candyland!! When they walked a few steps, they saw their best friends, Ema and Amy and went sprinting to them. Zoe and Ivy asked what happened and how did they get here? Ema and Amy said “this town is getting crazy!! Not long ago, we could have travelled back in time! We just randomly found this weird portal in our closet. Zoe and Ivy replied by saying “us too!” Ema and Amy said that they were going to go back in the real world. The others replied, ” yeah us too” They went in the real world and they were so happy! The following day, they could not wait for the time to hit midnight. When it finally hit midnight, they did not think twice and went in again only to find themselves in a beautiful kingdom. This time they were caught red handed by Their parents as soon as they were entering the portal. They could not utter a word and went in immediately to help their children. When they went in, they ran to find their kids and finally found them. They were thrilled until they look behind them and see a huge creature that they had never seen before. THEY WERE PETRIFIED WHEN THEY SAW IT. As the creature roared, the children noticed it grew weaker near the glowing portal. Immediately the family worked together to trick it. The parents distracted it while ivy and zoe led it into the bright light. One final step, and the creature vanished in a flash! The family were relieved and ran back home, never to return!
The moral of the story is to always tell an adult when something is wrong.
