I interviewed Ms. Debbie to learn more about her job and her life. She shared some interesting things about why she chose this career and what she enjoys most about working with children.
1. What interested you in becoming an LSE?
I love children, and I was interested in learning how to help children with difficulties.
2. What is your favourite part of your job?
My favourite part is becoming close to the girl I assist and seeing her improvement.
3. Is this job easy for you?
It is not easy. It depends on the case.
4. Have you become friends with the other Educators?
Yes, I get on very well with everyone.
5. Have you had any other jobs?
Yes, before this job, I was a hairdresser.
6. Do you have any children?
Yes, I have two girls, Abby and Faye.
7. Do you have any hobbies?
I like going to the gym and watching movies in my free time.
8. Do you have any pets?
Yes, I have a Maltese dog who is 5 years old.
9. How long have you been working at this school?
This is my tenth scholastic year at this school.
10. Do you miss the children you teach?
Yes, because I spend a lot of time with them.
