The sport tests balance, control, and technique over speed, making it a unique motorsport that rewards precision over raw power. Courses are filled with natural and man-made obstacles like rocks, steep inclines, and logs, requiring exceptional focus and mastery of the motorcycle.
In this sport, riders are scored based on “dabs”—each time they touch the ground with their foot or lose balance. The goal is to complete sections cleanly with zero dabs, achieving the ideal score. Both male and female riders compete equally, making trial motorsport a true test of skill and technique.
